Your private Information will be used only for your own buying and selling purposes, and will never be given, traded, or sold to anyone. J4UA utilizes a top-line 240 Bit Encrypted SSL Certificate to protect your information from those ho might wish to misuse it.

Q: What items and products can I sell on J4UA? Are there any prohibitions on sales?

Sellers may offer for sale any item that is your own property, or which you have the owner's consent to sell.
Items not allowed for sale on J4UA include any controlled substances or items which it is illegal to self in an internet venue, including all prescription drugs, firearms and ammunition, tobacco and alcohol products, except as they may be old enough or in a condition to be legally classified as 'collectors items.'

Domestic pets and exotic animals may not be sold, such as dogs, cats, birds, snakes, hamsters, ferrets and so on.

Agricultural livestock including horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep chickens and domesticated fowl may be offered for sale within the relevant state and federal laws

Ivory harvested before the international and United States ban may be sold suitably documented. Post-ban ivory is prohibited.

Also prohibited are products that are counterfeit versions of brands owned by other companies. Some of these are purses & pocketbooks, belts, clothing for men, women, or children, appliances, pirated copies of audio or video performances. If we become aware of listings of counterfeit goods, we will remove them from the J4UA website. Before listing, be sure you can authenticate merchandise before you list it. We are not experts on most of the items sold on J4UA, and depend upon other users to act as our bailiffs in protecting the site from stolen merchandise and from misrepresented merchandise; if necessary, the manufacturer will be contacted when validation is necessary.

Pornographic Material or Adult Oriented Toys are prohibited on J4UA. You may sell collectible magazines as long as no suggestive or nude images are seen in the photos in your listings; profane and/or derogatory language may not appear in listings.

Art such as paintings and sculpture which include nudity may be offered for sale on this site.

Q: Will J4UA ever ask for my User Name or the Password to my Account?

J4UA staff will never ask for your password. Passwords are encrypted into the website's automated security system and cannot be retrieved by staff. Users can recover a lost or forgotten password by clicking those links to recover it.

Q: Can I change my User Name?

No. J4UA sellers and buyers cannot change their registered user name. Because the user name defines you as a "brand" to other site users, choose it thoughtfully when you register or set up a store on the site. As a protection against scams, users cannot change names and J4UA staff can not change this secure feature.

Q: Do Sellers have to upload their store or auction inventory to search engines like Google? How much will sellers need to do to get their merchandise 'seen' on the Internet?

J4UA is already set up for Google to crawl the entire site daily for new listings. We also submit to Yahoo Search and Bing. It may take a day or two for your items to show up in the search engines, and you are free to submit yourelf - but not every seller with quality items to sell wants or needs to become a Web guru.

We encourage sellers and buyers to mention J4UA on other social networks on which they post, and to news venues like Newsvine and Digg. Mentions on blogs and in local media are good for J4UA sellers and buyers, too, and efforts to place these mentions are welcome - but the website staff do the expected submissions to search engines for you.

Q: What does it cost a seller when an item sells?

J4UA offers free basic store space. Premium stores with more than 200 listings have a modest monthly fee. Upgraded listings, such as featured pages and highlighted or bolded listings, pay a modest and fixed fee. There are no individual listing fees or 'final value' fees when an item sells. final value or isting Fee's. Store Owners with 200 or more listings will have a very small modest Monthly Charge. Oh - and did we mention that you can leave an item in your store until it sells without additional fees to relist?

Q: If Sellers and Buyers have problems with one another, will J4UA help resolve it?

J4UA is a community, and in that spirit prefers that Buyers and Sellers work any problems out between them. We also know that in a few rare cases that is impossible. So if asked to do so by either party, J4UA will work with both parties to settle any dispute. We reserve the right to prohibit abusive users from future use of the site.

Q: If I contact you will I get the usual canned email responses that most of the other Venues have.

A. As of Now you will get a Personnel Response from one of the Staff. Whoever it may Be will have the Authority to to assist you with any problem that may arise or answer any question you may have. We Understand that it is You that are here for us. You are our Customers and we will work with you.

Of course. When you join J4UA as a seller, how you run your store or your auction listing is your choice. We believe that if sellers' sales experience (and buyers' shopping experience) is positive, everyone benefits in the long run. While we'd like to think sellers and buyers will prefer to always make their transactions on J4UA, we know that sometimes they have good reasons for making other choices. We are certain that cross-traffic between venues provides the best service to both sellers and buyers.

Q: Can Sellers and Buyers suggest changes and improvements to the J4UA site?

A. You Must be at Least 18 Years Old to Buy and Sell on J4UA. By Using J4UA you are entering into a Legal Binding Contract with your Customer or Seller. The Law Requires that you be no younger than 18 to do so.

Q: How Does Feedback work on J4UA

Feedback works here like it would on eBay. You Rate your Buyer / Seller on the Basis of your Transaction. Please Be Honest when Using the Feedback System. Some Sellers and Buyers Take this Very Serious and to leave an unsubstantiated Feedback could cost you Dearly. I have Known both Buyer and Seller taken to Court and Sued to Have the Feedback Removed and Fined for Loss of Business. It Does Happen on eBay and can Happen Here. If you have differences Please work it out with your seller / buyer before leaving any Feedback.
